SRM EVA Failback scenarios - what do you do?

Hi All,

Ive doing my eval before going into production.

Basically I've got a couple of  HP EVA 6400 running with some HP Blades in a C7000 enclosure.

SRM installed and working for a DR Failover.

Now the manual for the SRA for the EVA's says to reconfigure srm and perform a failover for failback.

so dr secenario for SRM is Protected Site A -> Recovery Site B

for fail back reconfigure SRM so Recovery Site A <- Protected  Site B and then do a failover.

then reconfigure back to its origonal configuration of  Protected Site A -> Recovery Site B

Now this is good.. and works.. But a lot of messing around reconfiguring SRM for failbacks.

I'd like to at least automate the reconfiguring of SRM.. Has anyone done any powershell scripts to confiure SRM Creating/Deleting proection groups and recovery plans.

Or has anyone done a script that manually does a failback and the necessary cleans ups srm on EVA's

Thanks

Hi,

Currently SRM does not have API that allows you creation / deletion Recovery Plans or Protection groups or any other configuration.

It only allows listing and running recovery plans and view results.
