Error snapshot

Buenos dias:

Resulta que al intentar hacer un snapshot de la maquina me dio error y me encuento con lo siguiente..

En el datastore tengo aqchivos vmdk 000001,00002 etc

Pero si me voy al snapshot manager no aparece ninguno..

El archivo .vmx apunta al 00003.vmdk

scsi0:0.fileName = "SQL2008Ekon-000003.vmdk"

Como lo soluciono???

es algo uregnte ya que es un servidor en produccion

Si realizo esto con la maquina encendida se resolvera el problema??

Es un vsphere 5.0

This is often caused by e.g. backup applications which do not update the .vmsd file which contains the information of what's displayed in the Snapshot Manager. To consolidate all snapshots, right click the VM in the inventory and select "Consolidate" in the "Snapshot" sub-menu. There's no need to shut down the VM do do this, but I recommend you do it while there no heavy workload on the VM!
