Hi there,
I have been scheduled to take the VMware® vSphere Install, Configure, Manage v5.5 by the end of the month. This is my first training for VMware so I don't know what to expect. There is any info that I need to know prior to start the training?. My company did the registration for me but I don't know any details except the date and the training facility (New Horizons).
I really appreciate any input.
Thanks.
If you understand what virtualization is and have any Linux or Windows server experience you will be fine. It starts at a pretty basic level and builds
It is a good class. I took it for version 3 and version 5.

You can view the course outline here: VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V5.5]
Thanks. I have been working with VMware since version 3 so pretty much I know how is work from the Windows and Linux site but I have never been in a training before because of the money but now the company that I work for gave me this possibility. I am excited about the training because I really love the product.
Thanks for your input.
Thanks for your input.
Do they provide any training materials?, book, manual, voucher.
You receive some training books which normally also contain tasks for you to do
Great. Thanks.
BTW beside the hands-on experience and the home lab what training materials do you use to preparing for the test?
The blueprint is your perfect guide. Follow this and work with the product in your homelab and you will easily achive it.
OK. Thanks.
