vcta-dcv 2024 based on ESXi 7 or 8?

The exam guide doesn't specify which version of vSphere the vcta-dcv 2024 cert is based on.  If you look at the recommended course, Core Technical Skills, it's based on ESXi 7/vCenter 7.

Yes, but, it does not specifically state what version.  It just lists the generic links.

I read the guide before I posted the link, as you quoted it says “In addition to the recommended courses” which as you’ve already discovered is based on 7.x
