After rebuilding my ESX Server, simply building a ubuntu distribution is taking fooorevvver.... It's even using local disks..

Any ideas? I rebuilt my ESX and attempting to build an ubuntu VM and the orange ubuntu progress meter just goes nowhere...over an hour now. I see the esx servers disks moving. Weird.

This happens during install?

Inside the VM, try pressing AltF3, AltF4 and Alt+F5 to view the different install logs and see if you're having any error messages.

Must have been the disk or something...I reburned one and its fine now!
