Any issues with replacing a brand X fiber card with brand XY fiber cards? Drivers?

I need to replace a problematic fiber card with another brand of fiber card. (Yes, they are both supported by VM) Does any one knows if I replace the problematic Emulex card with the Qlogic, will ESX recongize the card right away or would I need to install some drivers?

As long as they are both on the HCL, no changes needed beyond setting up apporpiate zoning/LUN masking on your storage and doing a rescan on the host.
