ESX 3.5 U5 issue with HCL?!

Hi,

I have a issue where my SAN is on the HCL for 3.5 U5 only. So I am looking to use this on my servers. Trouble is my servers (which are on the HCL for 3.5 U5) have a RAID card which is not supported on ESX 3.5 U5 (Dell R710 with H700 RAID card). So I start looking for another RAID card...

So looking around I notice the PERC 6/i is compatible with these servers. I go to look on the HCL and am confronted with this:

So what exactly is an end user supposed to take from this?? Is it supported? Is it not supported? What exactly is the difference between each line?
