ESX 3.5 U5 upgraded, now getting "Connection problems" in Veeam 4.5

OK, I upgraded an older ESX 3.5 from U0 to U5. Now the Veeam Monitor server keeps getting the error "Connection problems". Nothing changed on the Veeam monitor server but the ESX server was upgraded. This should rule out the Veeam server. I can ping across the board and I can connect to the ESX server through VIC using the same credentials.

Anybody experience this? if so, how did you resolve this?

Thanks

Nevermind. I found a thread in Veeam's forum and the cause was the delta in time between the Veeam server and the ESX host server.

Weird why it didn't happen till I upgraded?!?!?!

Sheeeesh!....murphy's law guess.

It may be possible that before the upgrade you had your NTP source configured on the ESX servers.
