ESX server will not start up

Why doesn't my ESX server start up - this is the message I get::

Starting hpasm: ipmi_si: Could not disable interupts, failed set

ipmi_si: Searching for PCI Vendor 0x103c, Device 0x3302

ipmi_si:Trying "kcs" at memory address 0xf7ef0000

ipmi_si: Found PCI BMC at BAR address 0xf7ef0000

driver issue? Which hardware is it running on? Have you checked you r hardware is supported?

It's an HP ESX Proliant BL465c G1.

I'v been on vacation and someone patched it with new updates - might be the reason..? Is it possible to rollback patches? and in this case, when it stops in loading the OS..

Is it possible to make a snapshot on an ESX server?

Install the latest ROM firmware and reboot the server. You will find the latest firmware here:
