Last week we have done a data migration from old filer to new filer. After mirrored all VMs to the new filer, we made all VMs online from the new filer. Now the thing is I can't remove the existing datastore (Old Filer). When i tried to remove the datastore from VC, it throws an error:
Is there any command/trick to remove the datastore forcefully ?
Thanks,
Ganesh

I found this (esxcfg-nas --del nfsname) command from the given URL. But, No Luck. When i issued that command, it showed that the volume has been deleted. But its still there in the datastore list.
When i tried to remove the volume through VI-Client, it throws the same error.
It has been removed once i restarted the management service.
Thanks,
Ganesh
after running the esxcfg-- command u mean?
I executed two commands to delete the datastore completely.
Can't reveal my server name and datastore name Sorry about that. I meant to say after running the management restart command only, the datastore has removed from the VC. Makes sense ???
understood. thanks for taking to effort of posting the screenshot to make me understand.
