Intel riser nic e1000 and broadcom onboard bnx2 not displaying all vlans on e1000 nics

I have installed esx 3.5 on a HP 580 G5

There is a 4 port riser nic using e1000 driver and the two onboard ports using bnx2 drivers.

You can see the switch and vmnic config below.

esxcfg-vswitch -l

Switch Name Num Ports Used Ports Configured Ports MTU Uplinks

vSwitch0 128 7 128 1500 vmnic2,vmnic3,vmnic0

PortGroup Name VLAN ID Used Ports Uplinks

VLAN10 10 0 vmnic0,vmnic3,vmnic2

VLAN11 11 0 vmnic0,vmnic3,vmnic2

VLAN410 410 0 vmnic0,vmnic3,vmnic2

VLAN17 17 0 vmnic0,vmnic3,vmnic2

VLAN13 13 0 vmnic0,vmnic3,vmnic2

VLAN12 12 0 vmnic0,vmnic3,vmnic2

VLAN15 15 1 vmnic0,vmnic3,vmnic2

Service Console 15 1 vmnic0,vmnic3,vmnic2

Switch Name Num Ports Used Ports Configured Ports MTU Uplinks

vSwitch2 64 3 64 1500 vmnic5

PortGroup Name VLAN ID Used Ports Uplinks

VLAN983-DMZ 983 0 vmnic5

VLAN2-INTERNET 2 0 vmnic5

VLAN993-DMZ 993 0 vmnic5

Switch Name Num Ports Used Ports Configured Ports MTU Uplinks

vSwitch1 64 7 64 9000 vmnic1,vmnic4

PortGroup Name VLAN ID Used Ports Uplinks

IPSAN-GUEST 0 1 vmnic4,vmnic1

Service Console 2 0 1 vmnic4,vmnic1

IPSAN 0 1 vmnic4,vmnic1

Switch Name Num Ports Used Ports Configured Ports MTU Uplinks

vSwitch3 64 1 64 1500

PortGroup Name VLAN ID Used Ports Uplinks

Internal 0 0

I have checked serveral times now on the physical switches and can confirm that the ports are trunked to the correct vlans,

however I am having a moment, or there is a bug in the VC client.

Vswitch0 when interegating the nics shows the bnx2 nic as all vlan networks shown, however the e1000 nics only show V15s ip range

followed by a ",".

Any ideas?

that's a known issue. it doesn't show all networks but just a snippet of what passed the nic.
