Upgrade ESX version using Update Manager

hi

To upgrade my ESX 3.5.0 Update2 to Update4 I've done the following:

1.) using Update Manager I've attached pre-defined Crtitcal und NON Crtitcal Updates and I've created a new baseline ESX Server Updates (Dynamic) aditionally.

2.) I've done remediate Crtitcal Updates and over the night NON Crtitcal Updates

I didn't remediate the new manual baseline ESX Server Updates (Dynamic)

Now all updates are compliant and the build number is 153875

Do I have now Update 4?

My questions is, do I really need to attach a new not pre-defined baseline ESX Server Updates (Dynamic) to upgrade ESX version?

btw. howto scan ESX for new updates?

Yes, you have U4 now.

You don't have to create new baseline, Critical + Non-Critical are enough.
