Vmware web access problem

Dear all,

I am new to vmware field. I have installed ESX Server3. I am facing some problem in vmware webaccess and need your expertise guidence.

Description : I have installed ESX Server3. From any remote machine i can open a web page using url also i can download and install vmware infrastructure client. But when i click on "Login to web access" or "Login to the scripted Installer" on same page it gives error as "page cannot be displayed".

I have tried with also same problem.

Details : Linux Kernel version - 2.4.21-47.0.1.ELvmnix

Tomcat is installed in following directory - /usr/lib/vmware/webAccess/tomcat

Java installed in following directory - /usr/lib/vmware/webAccess/java/jre1.5.0_07

Please find Out put of followings : 1. >>echo $JAVA_HOME

/usr/lib/vmware/webAccess/java/jre1.5.0_07

2. >> echo $CATALINA_HOME

/usr/lib/vmware/webAccess/tomcat/apache-tomcat-5.5.17

3. >> ./vmware-webAccess status

webAccess (pid 1001) is running...

4. >> ./startup.sh

Using CATALINA_BASE: /usr/lib/vmware/webAccess/tomcat/apache-tomcat-5.5.17

Using CATALINA_HOME: /usr/lib/vmware/webAccess/tomcat/apache-tomcat-5.5.17

Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /usr/lib/vmware/webAccess/tomcat/apache-tomcat-5.5.17/temp

Using JRE_HOME: /usr/lib/vmware/webAccess/java/jre1.5.0_07

Note : I can login to the server using vmware infrastructure client.

Can any one please let me know what may be the problem. What could resolve the problem.

I have tried with also same problem.

Sounds like you are using internet explorer which is a bit of an awkward browser imho.

Try the following url instead, note the slash on the end (it needs this) and the use of secure HTTP.
