VirtualMachine=>Interaction=>ConsoleInteraction will give the user permission to interact with the console (keyboard/video/mouse), so, it will give him also permission to send ctrlaltdel (ctrlaltins inside a console).

Sorry just checked again and that is ticked. Now noticed this is ticked on all 4 ESX server however one of them will not enable "send ctraltdel"

Would recreating the role help?

Are you sure that:

\- ONLY that role is defined in that tree

\- Propagation is TRUE

\- The user is not part of another group with more restrictive permissions

- ONLY that role is defined in that tree

not sure what you mean?

- Propagation is TRUE

Again not sure, but have re-created the role and permission and propagation was ticked when it was created.

- The user is not part of another group with more

No

restrictive permissions

How do I check this?

Sorry for my ignorance.
