for some reason I am not able to do a snapshot of my guest os.
My vmrun tool runs on my XP laptop .. and the VMs are hosted on a esx server.
Here is the cmd I am using :
C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware VIX>
vmrun -T esx -h -u rootxxx -p tsdxxxx snapshot "[tsd23:storage1] tsd23_LIN_VM_012809.053926/tsd23_LIN_VM_012809.053926.vmx" snap_test
Error: The operation is not supported for the specified parameters
