ESX 3.I Installation doubt

Hi,

Based on my understanding, ESX 3.5 i do not required the following partition? Is this correct?

If it is correct for 3.5i which required only IP Address and set root password, how does the system know the how many GB should be use for VMFS (Local hard disk)?

For ESXi on the install partition 750 MB will be used for the 4 ESXi system partitions. The rest will be formatted as VMFS.
