I'm able to crash VMWare ESXi 4.0 with a Vista host machine

Hello:

I'm able to consistently crash a VMWare ESXi 4.0 server with a Vista host machine.

My test server:

8 gigs RAM

Intel Core 2 Quad processor

Gigabyte motherboard

Intel NIC

It appears that the Vista virtual machine consumes more and more CPU cycle, memory, and disk to the point that the ESXi 4.0 server become unresponsive. The VSphere client disconnects and will not reconnect. I have unchecked the boxes in the server that give unlimited resources to the Vista machine. I have allocated 2 gigs of ram to the Vista virtual machine, and have had a VMWare crash; the crash happens faster when I allocate 1 gig of RAM to it.

Other virtual machines on the same test server: XP, Ubuntu, Windows Server 2008, etc., work correctly.

Anyone else run into this problem?
