Start up VM when its shut down

Hi,

I'm looking for a bit of help with the following. I have a VM that has non-persistent disks set. To revert to the snapshot, we have an application inside the VM force a shut down. The problem is automatically powering that VM back up. Is there a simple way in ESXi to automatically power up a vm upon shut down, or am I looking at writing a script?

All suggestions are welcome.

Thank you!

If you do not have VC I think it will be a script - in VC you could set an alarm that will automatically power on the VM when it is shut down -

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. I knew that a script would be overkill but I couldn't find this by my self....
