Show Consumption (Service Broker) Catalog page instead of Overview page

Dear All,

I hope you are fine.

Once a user opens Service Broker:

the user interface shows the Overview page:

Is there any way to show Catalog page directly (as landing page) instead of Overview page?

Hi Ronaldo,

Thank you very much for your comments.

This the version: Aria Automation 8.12.1.31050 (21768489).

Is this related to a specific configuration?

Hi Ronaldo,

thanks again for your comments.

I just realized that when I access Service Broker as Administrator you do not see the Overview option and the page is https://server/catalog/#/consume/library

However, if you access as Member you will see the Overview option and the page is: https://server/catalog/#/consume/overview

I just wanted to check if there was a way to show the catalog https://server/catalog/#/consume/library as landing page for the user Member.

But it seems that since a Member could belong to several projects, then Overview page is listed by default.

Hi Guys,

This has been the default functionality since Aria Automation release 8.11.

If you're logging in as a Service Broker Administrator,  you won't see the Overview tab. You have to have the Service Broker User role to see the overview page. The Overview feature was triggered by the Cloud Consumption Interface (CCI) solution (not yet General Availability).

There is an internal feature request raised to have the ability for an Administrator to turn the feature off for users, but no ETA on release as yet - it has been requested by a few customers. I'll add your community post to the request list.

Regards,

Greg D, VMware

Dear Greg,

I hope you and your team are fine.

Thank you very much for your comments.

It would be nice if that feature is enabled in the near future 🙂

Best regards

Antonio
