Hi All
Is there a way to deploy VM to Azure without creating public IP and availability set by default using Azure Cloud VM in BluePrint?
Below is my resource code part
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
resources:
Cloud_Network_1:
type: Cloud.Network
properties:
networkType: existing
constraints:
- tag: '${input.Cloud}'
- tag: '${input.Region}'
- tag: '${input.Environment}'
- tag: '${input.Tenant}'
- tag: '${input.Tier}'
Cloud_Azure_Machine_1:
type: Cloud.Azure.Machine
constraints:
- tag: '${input.Cloud}'
- tag: '${input.Region}'
properties:
name: '${input.Hostname}'
image: '${input.Image}'
flavor: '${input.Flavor}'
resourceGroupName: '${input.RG}'
tags: '${input.Tags}'
networks:
- network: '${resource.Cloud_Network_1.id}'
quick update,
public IP issue solved after doing below
assignPublicIpAddress: false
But availability set still get created everytime
Please let me know if anyone know a way to disable availability set creation
Hello David,
Have you used Azure RM template to deploy using VRA 8.1.?
Regards
Chakresh
Hi Chakresh
I was not using ARM template on VRA 8.1
It was just BP Cloud.Azure.Machine resource type
Thanks
David
Bump on this thread, same problem about the extra availability set. Any update on this David?!
was told will be requested to feature added into future update to include option to disable
Has this been addressed yet?
