I am confused with the hardware requirement for vRealize Automation 8.3 as it is different is different place.
From this link https://docs.vmware.com/en/vRealize-Automation/8.3/installing-vrealize-automation-easy-installer/GUI... there are two hardware requirement
And in here https://docs.vmware.com/en/vRealize-Automation/8.3/vrealize-automation-reference-architecture.pdf it is different as below
Which is the correct one from all above ?
the correct one is always the one with higher specs...
these should really be synced, I thought they were...
anyways:
vRA 8.3 -> 42GB memory, 12 CPU
vIDM 3.3.x -> 16GB memory, 8CPU
----------
do not operate vIDM with smaller-sized spec, as you may have intermittent connectivity or auth issues 😕
By default vIDM get deployed as medium sized with 8vCPU and 16 GB Memory with vRA 8.3. Are you suggesting to go with Larger size ? Do we have any known reported issues with medium sized vIDM ?
Is there a document different node size specification for vRA and vIDM?
8vCPU and 16 GB is OK as I have pointed out;
it is the smaller sizes which can be a problem (specs that you can see in one of the documents - 2CPU, 6GB ram - that is a no_go)
The values in the Reference Arch guide are correct. I will update the Easy Installer doc to match and republish
