I developed this on 8.5.1. Just tested on 8.3 and indeed it fails. The root cause seems to be an incorrect handling of MimeAttachment input of the Python task. If I remove the input, it tries to run but obviously will not do anything useful...

Sorry, you need a more recent vRO for that to work.
