Alerts - Payload Templates - Send parent metric

Hi.

I'm creating some alerts to be sent via Slack, for example the Host Workload(%).

I would like that somehow, when sending the alert, I could also send the Cluster Workload(%) too, but when creating the Payload Template, it only gives me the option of sending metrics at the same level, in this case, Host System.

Is there any way to send Cluster metrics? Maybe with Supermetrics? But How?

Hello,

Yes, you can acheive this, using super metrics, create a supermetric on Host System and select the Object Type as Cluster Compute Resource with depth equals to -1, it would return the value of the specific Cluster Compute Resource metric on to the Host System.

avg({‌Cluster Compute Resource: ‌CPU|Workload, depth=-1})
