Can a VMware Workstation 6.5.5 VM work under Fusion 3.0 ?

I have a Windows VM I created using Workstation 6.5.5. Can I use this VM on a Mac Server

that is running VMWare Fusion 3.0 ?  If so are there any special steps required ?

I would prefer to not have to resetup a complete VM if it's possible to use the existing one.

Also the existing VM seems to be created with virtual disk modules that are around 2.0 Gigabytes

in size. Is it possible through a setting to have the virtual disk be a single module ?

Thanks.

Yes you can use the VM under VMware Fusion and if you want you can uncheck "Split into 2 gb files" under the Hard Disk Settings.  Just copy the folder containing the files that comprise the Virtual Machine to the Mac and excute the .vmx file. Also note that under VMware Fusion a .vmwarevm extension is added to the folder containing the files that comprise the Virtual Machine when created by VMware Fusion and you can add that if you want however it's not necessary.
