Hi. I started two threads** about this persistent problem:
"Cannot open the disk '/Users/xxxxxxx/Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Virtual Machines/Boot Camp/%2Fdev%2Fdisk0/Boot Camp partition.vmwarevm/Boot Camp partition.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.
Reason: Resource busy."
I can't locate the file Boot Camp partition.vmdk using Spotlight, but maybe that's covered by the following phrase " ... or one of the snapshot disks ..." ?
I understand that I should delete the folder %2fdev%2fdisk0 . Should it be that folder or just the file it contains, i.e. : Boot Camp partition.vmwarevm ? I had a problem when I took the folder out onto the Desktop and restarted Fusion, although I can't remember the wording of the alert that I got. However, I couldn't start up the BCVM.
The only method that works, which is really very inconvenient, is to Restart the Mac OS.
Is there anything I can do, information about my system I can supply, that might help a knowledgeable person find me a solution?
