Drag and Drop won't work on 2.0

I just upgraded to Fusion 2.0 on my MBP 2.4. Everything is working fine except for drag and drop. It won't allow documents from the mac side to be brought to the PC environment. I tried reinstalling Tools which hasn't done anything. I really need this to work for me.

A more thorough approach than simply reinstalling Tools is to uninstall Tools, reboot the guest once or twice to let Windows deal with the changes, and install Tools.

I did that but I had a very difficult time with the tools as it wouldn't upgrade correctly despite restarting the guest. I shut down the entire fusion then restarted which eventually did the trick. For a long time, I had no trackpad/mouse input, just the keyboard.
