Getting an error message after downloading Fusion 11.5.7...

What is the host macOS operating system version?

My Mac Os is 10.15.7 Catalina. 

Unfortunately, I couldn't find the Log file.

Are you saying that the vmware.log file does not exist when you follow the instructions in the documentation to locate and inspect the files in your Windows 10.vmwarevm bundle? 

What were the other error messages that were displayed?

I think it doesn't exist.

Other errors:

1. Could not open /dev/vmmon: Broken pipe.:

Please make sure that the kernel module `vmmon' is loaded.

2.Failed to initialize monitor device.

3. Transport (VMDB) error -14: Pipe connection has been broken

What Mac model are you running?

Can you open a terminal session and post the output of the following command:

ls -ald /private/tmp

That’s what I was looking for and those permissions are correct - that eliminates one possible problem.

Can you generate a support bundle and (the quick one will be enough) and attach it to a reply?

Are you generating the Fusion support from the Fusion GUI? There’s a item in the Fusion menu bar Help > Collect Support Information…

When I went to access 'Collect Support Information'  I got this error message:

 I was confused whether to put that in the terminal or manually go through the HD.

Run that command in the Terminal and make sure you’re in you account’s  home folder when running it. Include the double quotes in the command.

When I ran the code this is what I got:

The code is assuming that you are running on the Mac as a user with admin privileges. The prompt is asking for your login password in order to gain admin privileges needed to collect the data.

So my first question is: Are you logged in as a user with admin privileges?

This was common error many years ago. Try the Security settings solution as indicated in this thread.

The security settings were the culprit.  I had to reboot my computer for it to come up so I can allow VMware.

Now, I'm having issues booting it.....LOL.  Any suggestions with this let me know.  Thanks
