Hash # key

Hello,

How do enter a hash (#) within vmware fusion (running a windows xp virtual machine)?

Option+3 does not do anything.

I have a Macbook Pro (UK version)

Thanks

Thanks, that does it.

I had been trying option3 because that is how to get # within OS X with a UK keyboard (which gives a £ for shift3)

It seems vmware fusion is assuming the us keyboard layout. Is there a way to tell fusion that I have a uk keyboard?

Now I can't get £ using shift+3 (although that is less of an issue for me than not having access to #).

More importantly, having to mentally remap modifier key locations depending on which OS I am in will send me nuts!

UPDATE: Just realised there are many forum posts on uk keyboard in fusion. I will have a look through these posts.
