This has only happened once so far, but I though I'd report it.
I installed the Nile Theme (free XP theme from Microsoft).
Whilst in full screen mode, and upon rebooting, an image of the mouse pointer was being left on the screen (the mouse was otherwise working).
The only way I could get rid of it was to switch to window mode (which for some reason was a bit of a fight), and then back to windowed mode.
It's been fine since and I cannot replicate the problem. Maybe it's an issue post-installation of this new theme?
