OpenGL: VMGL with Linux Guest in VMware Fusion

Okay so before I scrap the idea of using a VM and go BootCamp.... has anyone tried using the VMGL package with VMware Fusion on the Mac? I really need OpenGL support in my Linux guest (using CentOS5) and it looks like I'll be waiting for a while before VMware releases support. So if anyone has any experience with VMGL on a Mac host with a Linux guest, please drop me a note.

Another thing to try would be to install X11 in OS X and ssh -Y to the guest. I've never tried this myself, but I seem to recall hearing that this should work.

Thanks for the 'ssh -Y' suggestion but no difference... I think this weekend I'll be backing up my mac and trying bootcamp.
