VMware Fusion doesn't fully launch after upgrading to Snow Leopard

When I launch Fusion, the first screen comes up and I get the following message:

Cannot open the disk '/Users/Peter/Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Virtual Machines/Boot Camp/%2Fdev%2Fdisk0/Boot Camp partition.vmwarevm/Boot Camp partition.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.

Reason: insufficient permission to access file.

When I check the path I do have the Boot Camp partition file there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Who owns the file?

For some boot camp issues such as this it's advised to move that file to the desktop and let Fusion create a new one when it attempts to boot the boot camp virtual machine again. It would not affect the data in your virtual machine.

Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Virtual Machines/ then drag the Boot camp folder to your desktop.

~ indicates that the path starts in your home folder.
