I'm trying to use Windows Movie Maker on Vista but am given the fatal error that it "cannot start because your video card does not support the required level of hardware acceleration or hardware acceleration is not available". Playing videos in Media Player works fine. I turned on the hardware acceleration checkbox in Fusion but the error remains. I'm on a MacPro with 2GB given over to Vista. Physical gfx card is geforce 7300gt.
Any pointers?
Quick googling suggests that Vista's Movie Maker requires Shaders 2.0, which Fusion does not currently support. You could try Movie Maker 2.6

MM 2.6 works just fine. Thanks for the assistance. Unfortunately, DVD Maker also complains, so I shall take a look at alternatives on that front.
