after Fusion 1.1.1 upgrade: not able to login to virtual machine

I upgrade from ver 1.1 to 1.1.1 and now I'm not able to login to my XP windows virtual machine. When I start to type my password I get an error and the machine crashes. Is this a known issue and is there a workaround?

I've attached a snaphshot of both the vm login window and the error message.

If I use the 1.1.1 uninstall pkg will it remove 1.1.1 only or will it wipe fusion and require fresh install of fusion and windows?

This sounds like a known issue with 1.1.1 if you use an out-of-date VMware Fusion.app - see . Where are you launching Fusion from?

Uninstalling Fusion only affects Fusion, it does not affect your virtual machines.

I'm running Mac OSX 10.5.2. Does this make a difference?
