how to use an hp printer with windows xp on fusion 2.0

I am coming from a pc to an imac 10x and put fusion on so that I could run windows and its apps. Fusion said it will enable printers that the Mac has on my windows platform. However, when I go into settings and printers in Windows, it will not even list my printers - hp officejet 6110 all in one and canon mp610. Found device driver for hp and put it on windows desktop and thought that would help, but win will still not recognize it. Do I have to be connected to the internet so windows can look for something? I really would rather not get into that with windows' susceptibility to viruses. Please, can anyone help a newbie to this whole thing? I am getting very discouraged.
