mount and use a shared folder - really do it! - between MacOS and XUbuntu 14.04

Hello,

if I use the Dateimanager (file explorer?) from XUbuntu, I can sometimes see and access the Mac-Host System.

The configured shared folder is not visible for me.

I try to use:

# mount -t vmhgfs .host:/VBoxShared /home/mareb/VBoxShared

Error: cannot mount filesystem: No such device

"VBoxShared" is the name of my shared folder.

I need this folder under /home/mareb/ - not under /mnt/

There is no automatically mounted directory in mnt/hgfs

How to do it right?
