When I attempt to execute the vmware-config-net.pl perl script It just immediately exits when it needs to prompt me for input.
I'm no perl environment expert but can someone give me an idea why this is happening?
It's been like this in all VMware Fusion versions. Here is a cut and paste I get out of a terminal when I run this as root:
machinename:VMware Fusion root# ./vmware-config-net.pl
Configuring a NAT network for vmnet8.
Configuring a host-only network for vmnet1.
The host-only network is currently configured to use the private subnet
192.168.5.0/255.255.255.0. Do you want to keep these settings? yes
machinename:VMware Fusion root# It gets to where it wants to prompt me for input then just dumps me out to the shell.
I have this problem on every mac I own that runs this. . . (Which all happen to be 10.5.1 with xcode tools installed and a fink environment, VM Fusion 1.1 and 1.1.1)
Can you guys help me figure out what is up?
