Hi,
I just want to share a little tip.
I have a pool that user uses logout or reboot.
The VMs in my instant clone pool then remain on and not refresh.
I spent a lot of time looking to find how to display only the stop button only and via GPO.
Here is:
First add some registry key:
Computer Configuration > Preferences > Windows Settings > Registry
Add new one:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\default\Start\HideRestart
Value Name:
value
Value Data in Hex:
1
Type REG_DWORD
If you have not already disable sleep you can do this with "HideSleep"
Change some user options:
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Start Menu and Taskbar
“Add Logoff to the Start Menu” to Enable
“Change Start Menu power button” to “Shut Down”
"Remove Logoff on the Start Menu" to Enable
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Ctrl+Alt+Del Options
"Remove Lock Computer" to Enable
"Remove Logoff" to Enable
I Hope this helps others
PS: Dont forget to use OSOT (Windows OS Optimization Tool for VMware Horizon)
