BGP goes down between Tire0-GW and Physical Router when one edge node goes down

Hi All,

We have 2 Physical router and 2 Edge node which are connected with BGP session as per attached diagram.

Router1 connected to Edge01 with 2 different BGP session and Router2 is connected to Edge02 with 2 different BGP session for redundancy.

We have observed that when we made one of Edge node node then all 4 BGP session goes down and it is showing in idle state.

Still one Edge node is up.

Appreciate your quick response.

Why are we connecting two edges which are in same edge cluster to two physical routers ? MX series looks like a stack model L3 devices. Please share the BGP summary details for Edges and MX to understand the connections.  .

Try adding a VM to an Overlay Segment, or add a third Edge Node.
