Dear All
I installed the NSX Manager 6.3.1 and tried to install NSX controller nodes that I found the Distributed port group is blink but I created the VDS and Distributed port group already. Other VM can assign Distributed port group for use. I ever tried to reinstall the NSA manager and restart the Vcenter but the problem still happen.
Thanks.
1. Hope NSX manager to VC sync is fine
2. The VM which can see/connect to DVS are they residing on the same host 10.10.4.201 were you are deploying the controller ?
3. Please verify host 10.10.4.201 is properly configured with DVS and sync status should be green.

Yes. Status is normal.
I ever tried to install a new NSX manager but the problem still happen. Is that a VC to cause the issue? VC is running 6.0
Dear Sreec
I can use VDS for create the NXS edges router but cannot use VDS for install NSX controller nodes
Very strange ! What version of DVS we are using in this setup ? Does it make any difference if you don't select a host (Only cluster selection)
It is not possible to add new controller if not all hosts at cluster have uplink added to the distributed switch.
Simple add uplink int. from ALL hosts at cluster to the DVS.
Dear All
I already reinstall the vcenter and NSX manager that the problem still happen. After investigated the problem happen again when add a VM version ESXI to the host. If don't add any virtual VM version ESXI to the host that the vds can work normal.
Thanks all!
You are right SabaotNetwork! This thread can be set to Answered. If you have one or more hosts in the same cluster with no membership to the VDS you will not see any portgroups available what so ever when deplyoing the NSX controllers.
Thanks for pointing this out, saved me some time.
Regards
Andreas
I faced similar issue, turns out that the host was not added to the DVSwitch
Go to DVSwitch and click on managed hosts, add the host where you want install NSX controllers to that DVSwitch. And that should solve the problem.
In my case I was not able to resolve this issue even after following the above solution then finally I removed the host from dvSwitch and added it again and then finally issue was resolved.
