Dear All.
I am going to configure NSX 6.4.6 on ESXI 6.7.0. Clusters and NSX Controller have been configured and running succesfully. But i click on the host preparation and try to install following error come:
Any Ideas?
There's a resolution issue.
As above, looks like a name resolution issue...
<msg>('https://vc1.wishnet.local:443/eam/vib?id=b771a6ff-8e86-40bc-93ae-1e587087c68c', '/tmp/tmpohq6jvix', '<urlopen error [Errno -3] Temporary failure in name resolution>')</msg>
Dear Diego,
1.Register vCenter Server with NSX Manager and deploy the NSX Controller cluster (ok)
2.Verify that a reverse DNS lookup returns a fully qualified domain name when queried with the IP address of NSX Manager:
How can I nslookup in nsx machine ? Which is the right coommand?
3. If I try to my windows Pc, nslookup gives me the right results. He resolve the NSX /VC/HOSTS dns name and reverse.
I try to print nslookup in the 1st Host to ,for example, nsx but it doesn't respond. If I try to ping the nsx ip , resolve it. How can I fix that?
Hi WishNetworks,
have you already seen this link "Installation of NSX 6.4 VIB on ESXi 6.7 host failed "???

You can do the Name Resolution via the following command inside the NSX Machine. Do it in the Privileged Mode (run Enable before executing this command)
dnslookup serverFQDN
I followed the below article to resolve the issue.
