NSX-V - Create IP sets

Hello friends,

We need to configure around 100 IPsets in our NSX-V environment with version 6.4.9 and we need to know if it is possible to create it in a file via API or PowerCLI.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is possible with API calls. There are a few examples  page 128 and 129 -> https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-NSX-Data-Center-for-vSphere/6.4/nsx_64_api.pdf

Thank you both!

The API Guide explains how to create an IP set over an XML. But can we create IP sets with a csv file for example? Or maybe with a longer xml string?

Yes you can and you can also use it in conjunction with power nsx.
