I did something that was pretty stupid as always in my lab. I had 3 logical switches that were assigned to a global transport zone that was attached to all 3 of my clusters. I decided I didn't want all the logical switches attached to all the clusters so I deleted the portgroups form the clusters. Bad idea! Other than an alert on the logical switches everything seemed ok. I then decided to create transport zones for each individual cluster and configure the environment the right way instead of having ugly alerts.
I created 3 additional transport zones, 1 for each of my cluster and all looked good. I then created a logical switch and attached to the zone for just one of my clusters. However when I try to attach it to my logical router it doesn't show available. I have even tried to create an additional logical router and no dice. If I create a logical network and attach it to my global transort zone it shows up just fine.
Any idea what I may be doing wrong?
This was a pedcak issue on my part. I didn't deploy logical routers to the disparate clusters therefore there was none tin the appropriate transport zone for the logical switches to connect to. Opps.
