has any one ever had an issue with a vm losing network connectivity when vmotion with hcx?

we migrated 30 plus vm's that were smaller than this one and never had a problem.  but this server after it started vmotioning, it lost ping.    just curious we do have a case open with vmware on this

Hey, hope you are doing fine:

Most likely when ping fails after a vMotion it is a network issue.
Have you migrated other VMs to the same portgroup? is this the only one?
Is IP range matching the portgroup ip range?
Is VLAN propagated to the portgroup? you can check this by vMotion the VM to other hosts in the cluster.
