I have been following the steps from the great blog Workstation Zealot-- bring your windows XP over to WIn 7. I virtualized as recommended. On my WIN 7 machine... I moved the VM over to the WIN7 machine hard drive.. then installed and rebooted. When I went to open using VMPlayer I got an error "failed to open virtual machine... a file access error occured on either the guest or host operating system".
Any suggestions? I googled but didnt see how to fix this error.
