A year after my most recent post to the VMware Communities, I started getting a monthly email
"VMware Communities Updates".
Every month, this update told me stuff I already knew, that I did not need to learn again, and which was not obvious how to make stop.
Having already set my discussion threads to tell me when a new reply comes in, I really do not need to be told every month the inventory of my threads and how many people read them and how many people replied to them.
Having focused on other work, I really don't need to be told every month that I have not set a status update.
Although others may find the monthly repitition of already known facts useful, I find it annoying.
I don't know how to turn off the VMware Communities Updates, so I just signed onto my account and disabled ALL email from VMware.
An improved VMware Communities Updates would tell me information that I did not already know, and it would
tell me how to turn it off!
