Would someone kindly tell me how to disable VMware file drag and drop for VMware Workstation Player 16?
I use shared folders for drag and drop. I've never used VMWare drag and drop between the host and guest, and yet the /home/myuser/.cache/vmware/drag_and_drop folder contains 31GB of files, including ones that I've recently copied. I've seen the VMware file copying progress dialog pop up at times, even when I'm copying local files between locations on the guest.
I can't afford to lose this amount of storage space on my system, so I'd like to be sure that the drag and drop functionality doesn't inadvertently get activated.
