snapshot on Workstation 16 available on free version?

Hosting the noncommercial Workstation 16 on W10 with an Ubuntu 18 guest OS I am trying to take a snapshot. I see various examples that say I should see a Snapshot item on a menu but I don't see such an entry. Is this because I am not paying? 

If not, where should I be looking?

Yes, the snapshot feature is available only in the Pro version. The Pro UI is different from Player that is why you don't see it.

Workstation Pro is available for 30 day evaluation. After the evaluation expires, the VMs you created (with the Pro) will still run. VMware Player is installed alongside the Pro interface. However, you do lose the Pro only features available through the Pro UI after the evaluation period expires. But the tools like Virtual Network Editor should still work (you don't get the Virtual Network Editor in Player).
