Can't print - Virtual printers are displayed as "offline" in guest OS

I cannot print from within my guest.

My only printer - which is online - is displayed as "offline" within the guest OS:

Absolutely:

The VM I've been using is an old one, running in a v10 VM environment.

I have a problem with physical printers (i.e. connected to the Windows guest) which are offline after suspend or reboot of the guest.
