Can you move VM's created in workstation to ESXi

Is there a way to move VM's created in the workstation Product to the free ESXi product?

You can use VMware vCenter Converter Standalone to convert the VM so it's suitable for ESXi.

You can also convert the virtual hard disk using vmware-vdiskmanager and create a VM around it.

Syntax Example:

vmware-vdiskmanager -r sourceDisk.vmdk -t 4 -h esx-name.mycompany.com -u username -f passwordfile "[storage1]/path/to/targetDisk.vmdk"
