Chrome does not let me escape

I have XP, Vista, Ubuntu, OpenSUSE, and Chrome on a x64 Windows 7 running the latest edition of VMWorkstation. I have 12GB of RAM and an I& processor. All is well, except that when I try to move my cursor out of Chrome to the Sidebar or to my Windows 7 desktop, it will not come out unless I press Ctrl Alt. The other virtual OS's allow me to move freely.

Is their any settings or other solution? Is this a VMWorkstation bug?

Thanks.

Al

You need to have VMware Tools installed in the Guest OS to move freely out of a VM otherwise you need to press Ctrl+Alt. This is the normal and expected behavior without VMware Tools installed.

You are right, the VMware Tools is grayed out and unavailable. It is set, however, to automatically update. How do I install it?

Thank you.

AFAIK Chrome is not a supported OS nor do I believe there is a version of VMware Tools for it.
